Middle Sepik Ancestor Figure. A very unique and interesting male ancestor figure. He has a very thick black patina that, in the photos, obscures the detail carving of the eyes, the forehead decoration and the pectoral decoration. As you can see he has a large area on his back and side that is the result of some damage long ago. The piece is, however, solid. Custom mounted it stands 13.25 inches tall.
