Very Rare Papuan Gulf Bone Money Presentation Stick. According to Col Davidson in a recent issue of the Oceanic Art Society newsletter, these very rare money presentations sticks were used to display red shell money discs for bride price payments. There come only from the area between Orokolo and Chu villages. In the article it says collector Richard Aldridge has seen only around 12 of these and obtained 8 of them. This one was obtained directly from Mr Aldridge some years ago by a Florida collector. It is 8.5 inches tall and comes with a mount.
