Old Bailer Shell Pectoral. Bailer shell pectorals are used by the peoples of the Western and Southern Highlands of Papua New Guinea. This one has a lovely finish to it with a beautiful patinaed braided cord. It is hard to tell how old these are as they are durable and used for many decades. The wear on this one indicates it is quite old. It is 10.75 inches high and 7.75 inches wide, custom mounted.
